Easter Egg Rice Crispy Treats Are Easy
Easter Egg Rice Crispy Treats are easy to make as a special gift for your students or as a fun snack idea to make with them as a group. Just be careful of the hotplate!
You will need:
A large saucepan
A hotplate or stove
Butter Rice Krispies cereal
Plastic Easter eggs
Food coloring (optional)
What to do:
In a large saucepan melt butter over low heat. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted. Remove from heat. Add Rice Krispies cereal. Stir until well coated.
Spray cooking spray on a paper towel and rub in on the inside of the plastic Easter eggs then fill completely full with the warm rice krispie mixture. Allow the treats to harden before eating.
Serve in or out of the Easter Eggs. (Add food coloring to the mixture for extra fun.)
