Heads Up If You Sell on TpT
Hey friends! Just a quick heads up if you are a seller on TpT. As of October 1 they will be keeping 5% more of each sale.
Currently they are paying out 60% for basic sellers and 85% for Premium Sellers. As of Sunday they will start paying out only 55% for basic sellers and 80% for Premium Sellers.
There isn't much you can do. They have the right to change their payout policy as they like (that's part of the user agreement we all agree to when we sign up), but it is still good to know of changes.
If you do sell on TpT and make at least $60 a year, you should consider upgrading to a Premium Seller in order to keep a much larger percentage of your earnings.
When I first started out I had a basic account until I hit $60 in earnings and then I upgraded. That's when I really started to see an up tick in my earnings. Getting to keep an additional 25% of your earnings is totally worth $60 a year!
